"Lovers Lane On Main"

Lovers Lane On Main  2011

Merchants in downtown Hendersonville are celebrating Valentine's Day with sweetheart deals during the fourth annual "Lovers Lane On Main"! Everybody is so 'in love' with this idea of pairing up! Hopefully, our customers will all 'fall in love' with downtown Hendersonville all over again. Valentine Flyers will be on the doors of participating "couples"! This event will run from February 1 through February 14.
How it works: Paired merchants wil exchange "Valentines" (coupons for specials)with each other. Every patron at a participating business will receive a "valentine" to the other business that it is paired with!

Motorama
Historic Downtown Hendersonville

"The peak fall foliage season usually lasts from mid October to early November depending on where you are. No matter what week of leaf season you arrive, peak fall color is nearby
. The change in color begins in the higher elevations and cascades down the mountain side to the foothills. The western North Carolina mountains provide a variety of elevations, from the highest peaks, to the gently rolling foothills all within a short drive of the Hendersonville area including the popular Blue Ridge Parkway. The opportunities are plentiful to witness spectacular fall color and beautiful mountain vistas. Remember that colors do not disappear after their peak, but become muted with age; the reds turn to rust and yellows into gold.  The many hiking trails also display colorful fall flowers such as: black-eyed Susans, asters, Joe Pye weed, goldenrod, wild sunflowers, and virgin's bower. Mountain hiking ranges from easy flat walks to strenuous trails for the more experienced hiker."-Visitor's Center Website
